"Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is an action role-playing video game developed by TaleWorlds Entertainment. It is a prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, a stand-alone expansion pack for the 2008 game Mount & Blade. Bannerlord takes place 210 years before its predecessor, with a setting inspired by the Migration Period. Bannerlord was announced in 2012. A Steam page for the game was created in late 2016; the following year, TaleWorlds began releasing weekly developer diaries detailing elements of the game. An early access version of the game was released on March 30, 2020" - Wikipedia

So anyone else been throwing harpoons at people? I have been enjoying the game so far, killing looters and bandits and selling trade goods for a profit. The sounds have definetly got an upgrade from Warband. It sound more chunky when I throw an axe into someone now. Looks much easier on the eyes too.

My cool f*****g hat I got from Forest Bandits

I've been playing mordhau and I saw bannerlord come out but I think the combat will be disappointing after mordhau. I played Warband a few times and I just couldn't get into the combat system really, but maybe I'll give bannerlord a shot for when I don't want to play multiplayer

I knew a few people that played the s*** out of Mount and Blade and talked it up non stop but I never tried it. Always saw them online in Steam.

I have been enjoying it so far, There are things which might have to change as the game progresses in Early Access. The skill and level system may have to be reworked because apparently it's not possible to level past lv22. There is still an issue with snowballing (one faction taking to much territory and they just keep getting bigger) I think. The Devs are fixing and adding things as best they can which is good.

I hope to see the modding community go into overdrive with this and we get a new Game of Thrones mod and a Japanese/Asian mod thing.
