As part of its E3 showcase earlier today Bethesda Game Studios director Todd Howard took the time to thanks the millions of Fallout 4 players who have made the latest game in the series the most popular yet. And with the introduction of mod support for both PC and console versions of the game, the content doesn't look to be stopping anytime soon. In fact a new official DLC pack, called Contraptions, will be released next week.

With more to follow in July and August. Which, are:

• Contraptions - The first new DLC for Fallout 4 arrives next week and is all about adding new mechanical contraptions to your settlements. With machinery like conveyor belts and elevators, plus a number of new traps and devices, this new update will also include armour and weapon racks!
  
• Vault-Tec - The second new update is expected to launch sometime in July and will give players the ability to excavate and build their very own Vault. And in keeping with the spirit of Vault-Tec, it will also allow for "unique experimentation" to be conducted on your settlers and vault dwellers.
  
• Nuka World - The third and final part of this new batch of Fallout 4 content will take place in and around a Nuka Cola theme park, and presumably be a story-based expansion.

And in other Fallout news, a special VR version of the game is being developed for the HTC Vive, with an expected released date sometime next year.
