People want co-op and multiplayer in their favourite shared worlds and universes with their like-minded peeps (personally I am all-in on SP over MP). So it's no surprise that speculation around the possibility of co-op in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 from developer Insomniac would at least be somewhere among the masses, but in considering how 'multi' all of the comic book worlds are at the moment, we totally get it.

Unfortunately for all the would-be Miles and Peter partnerships-in-waiting, there's no such luck, despite Miles himself making an odd gaff that it was actually a thing.

Some of you may not know, but long before we were slaying zombies in the fictional realms of Haran and Villedor in Techland's Dying Light series, the studio also released a first-person Western titled Call of Juarez. That was also a series unto itself and was pretty damn good. (Maybe bring it back, Techland.)

This year marks 10 years since the last entry in that franchise, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, and to celebrate the fine folk at Techers are preparing an in-game event in Dying Light 2 Stay Human later this month you won't want to miss.

The universe has been reborn, with NetherRealm and Warner Bros. Interactive announcing the series reset by way of a stylish and uplifting trailer that lulls you into a massive false sense of security ahead of turning things back to how they should be with this franchise -- bloody and damn gory.

And today's gameplay reveal trailer which also comes neatly packaged with a release date showcases just what fans have been so eagerly anticipating. Oh, and it has Iron Maiden in it too.

That's Diablo IV game director Joe Shelly talking about the story of the game, which is set many years after the events of Diablo III, covering a new conflict between Lilith and Inarius - two forces from the High Heavens and the Burning Hells that created Sanctuary. If you've played Diablo 4 during any of the recent Beta weekends, you would have got a taste of what to expect and an early look at the dark and gothic tone of Diablo 4's narrative.

Coming to both PC and Xbox this month, Evil Villain is a game that flips the script, literally. You play as a defeated final boss. Your abode has been claimed by the heroic err... 'hero' of the piece, and you want to get it back and regain your position as a person of extreme power and importance. And you're more than willing to tell the player about this again and again.

Games come and games go. To be an IP of stature in the crowded gaming industry is a feat unto itself. But few IP carry the weight and gravity of anything with the name "Zelda" attached. So what does the latest foray into that world spell for the greater world of gaming? Ummm... lots of work and school sickies, we reckon.

Today a new patch for the rocky (yet very good) Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was made available across all platforms with various fixes for each. As noted in our review experience, we had some dips in frame-rate but overall it was a solid and bug-free run, however, we and EA and Respawn are aware that it hasn't been all gravy for everyone.

With the success of Netflix's Drive to Survive series as well as the on-the-track battle for dominance in the ultra-competitive world of F1, it makes sense that the next chapter in Codemasters' F1 series, now published through the EA Sports label, would tap into that sort of energy.
