People want co-op and multiplayer in their favourite shared worlds and universes with their like-minded peeps (personally I am all-in on SP over MP). So it's no surprise that speculation around the possibility of co-op in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 from developer Insomniac would at least be somewhere among the masses, but in considering how 'multi' all of the comic book worlds are at the moment, we totally get it.

Unfortunately for all the would-be Miles and Peter partnerships-in-waiting, there's no such luck, despite Miles himself making an odd gaff that it was actually a thing.

The above video is an in case you missed it share -- we've not seen too much more on the game since its reveal. However, late last year, the voice actor for Miles Morales -- who starred in his own spin on the brilliant Marvel's Spider-Man by way of an almost-a-sequel, Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales and who is definitely in the sequel -- Nadji Jeter answered a fan question about there being co-op in the game, to which he replied "I think so".

VGC points out that this info somehow went ignored until as recently as this week (which is odd given the fervent nature of Sony fanpeeps and comic book tragics, of which I am also one). But one fan took to Twitter to ask for the 'what's what?' and got this back:

So there you have it. One big single-player adventure, which I am personally very happy with. A showcase is scheduled this week and we might actually see more in-depth info on the game, finally, so stay tuned.
