So by now you know Red Dead Redemption 2 is a must-own title. It's a benchmark for open-world games moving forward and stamps the studio as the premier developer in that space. But what nuts and bolts were updated to get Red Dead redemption 2 looking and running as good as it does on current consoles?

Digital Foundry has your back, and they've deep-dived on this in a compelling way, revealing things such as Red Dead running natively in 4K on Xbox One X, while also looking at the smaller components of presentation as well as tricks Rockstar has used to really take their open-world to another level.

This is truly interesting stuff and well worth the 20+ minute watch if you're super-keen on this game (as you should be).

There's a part 2 of their video that covers the differences between the consoles. Very interesting stuff.
