The World of Tanks Blitz regional Blitz Cups are set to begin this weekend, across November 4 and 5 - where the four best teams in each region will go head to head for their share of the $200,000 USD global prize pool. Starting with the Blitz APAC Cup each regional champion will earn $25,000 USD and the honour of taking the crown. And once again we've partnered with Wargaming to bring you all the action.

Spectators can also get in on the action with rewards in the form of warpaints, avatars, premium accounts, and other cool items. Here's the tournament card heading into this weekend's competition.

Teams will be playing with touch controls using X-tier tanks. Tournament format is set to be a double elimination with the Grand Final being an epic ‘Best of 9’ bout. Action kicks off November 4 at 10pm AEDT, and will conclude November 5 at 9pm AEDT.

"This is now the second year running that we have held the Blitz Cup championship online,” says Natalia Pershyts, Publishing Product Director, World of Tanks Blitz. “We aimed at making it not just a tournament, but a dazzling spectacle with something to offer both competitive eSports players and casual viewers alike. The former will get a chance to show off their skills and win a title and a cash prize, while the latter will see the show of a lifetime and get a chance to win in-game prizes such as useful resources, camouflage, and premium tanks!”

The Blitz APAC Cup kicks off a month of Blitz action, with the Blitz CIS Cup to follow November 11–12, the Blitz North America Cup from Nov 18-19, and finally the Blitz Europe Cup on Nov 25–26.

World of Tanks Blitz is a cross-platform, free-to-play, team-based MMO action game available on iOS, macOS, Android, Windows 10, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
